Can't go wrong at Oxford Creamery! Because of the limited days opened, I nearly didn't get to go on my trip. The lobster rolls are always amazing, as is the ice cream.
The best chowder and fried seafood in the area. The chowder is truly authentic. Very clam broth forward not wallpaper paste! The fried scallops, whole belly clams and haddock are always cooked to perfection. The batter is light, letting the taste of the seafood shine through. I also appreciate that the tarter sauce and coleslaw are always freshly prepared and savory not sweet. The picnic tables are a casual spot to eat and the service is always helpful and polite.
We had the Oxcart for our girls family birthday party. This year, I did not want to do the cooking or grilling and my Husband had foot surgery and was unable to help. We decided to have a food truck and we are so happy that we did! Everything was great from emailing with Liz to organize everything to Ken and Amanda manning the food truck. Ken and Amanda were so pleasant and organized. Our guests loved everything from the burgers, to the clam cakes and ice cream. This was more than what I expected and I would definitely use them again next Summer. If you are looking for a food truck to come to your event or cookout, I highly recommend the Oxcart!

Everything on their menu is delicious and affordable. We come up here as often as we can when we’re back on the east coast. The fish sandwich is a favorite of ours, and fries are always fresh. You won’t be disappointed!
